"Sanity" means the true and supreme Qi that permeates between heaven and earth, the root Qi of all things. When read as "shoki", it means sincerity or seriousness. At the beginning of the calligraphy, I expressed my desire to do my best in light of the teachings of Buddhism so as not to become a "shoki" and lose my "seiki".
