The Founder Dharma Guidance Text (Special Events) collection presents Dharma guidance given by Founder Niwano at special events held by Rissho Kosei-kai during the 1970s and 1980s, including award ceremonies, dedication ceremonies, and framework completion ceremonies, as published in "Gudo," "Isshin," and "Shojin." The commemorative lecture for the Templeton Prize; the First Schweitzer Prize Award Ceremony; President Niwano's address at the celebration marking the Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy conferred on him by Salesian University; the ceremony for the invocation of the image of the Bodhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World at Fumon Hall; the framework completion ceremony for Horin-kaku Guest Hall; the celebration marking the dedication of Horin-kaku Guest Hall. This collection brings together Dharma guidance given on such occasions.
To commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Founder's birth, it is being made specially available to the general public. We hope you will make use of it in learning about the history of Rissho Kosei-kai and the life of Founder Niwano.
