Selected Dharma Talks of Nikkyo Niwano was published in eight volumes as one of the commemorative projects marking the fortieth anniversary of the founding of Rissho Kosei-kai. This Collection of Dharma Sayings was compiled as a supplementary volume to the selected Dharma talks. Drawing on all available records of Founder Niwano’s teachings, it contains 1,600 selected sayings from his books, Dharma talks published in organizational newspapers and magazines, dialogues, roundtable discussions, interviews, and Dharma talks published in leadership guidance journals. The sayings are classified according to themes related to the chapter titles and are presented in a short and clear form.
A major feature of this collection is that each saying conveys a different impression depending on whether it is read with the eyes or heard aloud. When reflecting on your own daily actions, words, and conduct, why not search the Collection of Dharma Sayings and find guidance there?
In addition, the full texts of four manuscripts included in the Collection of Dharma Sayings—addresses and lectures delivered by Founder Niwano at public events and conferences held in Europe, the United States, and Asia—are made publicly available.
